Patrick provides advisory services to organisations seeking funding for new ventures, research units undertaking strategic reviews, and government agencies seeking public policy research and analysis. He is a specialist in designing and developing major science and innovation programs. He was previously Director, Corporate Finance at PwC and a Postdoc at UQ. He has held honorary positions at the Queensland Brain Institute (Industry Fellow), the QUT Research and Innovation Committee, the i.lab Advisory Panel and the Advance Queensland BDF Investment Panel.

As needed Pat collaborates with other specialist providers - recent examples include partnering with Urbis to deliver the Inner Brisbane Precincts Prospectus in 2023, and with Kelli Thomas to develop the Governance Arrangements for the Boggo Road Innovation Precinct.
